Privacy Policy

This Mining University Privacy Policy applies to all information that Mining University may receive about a user during their use of any of Mining University's websites, services, services, programs, and products. A user's consent to share personal information given by him or her under this Policy as part of a relationship with one of the persons on the Mining University staff extends to all persons on the Mining University staff.

The use of the Mining University's Services implies the user's unconditional agreement with this Policy and the terms of processing his or her personal information specified therein; if the user does not agree with these terms, he or she must refrain from using the Services.

1. Personal information of users, which is received and processed by the information system (IS) of the Mining University

1.1 For the purposes of this Policy, "personal user information" shall mean:

1.1.1 Personal information, which the User provides about himself/herself when registering (creating an account) or while using the Services, including personal data about the User. Information which is obligatory for the provision of Services (provision of services) is marked in a special way. Other information is provided by the User at their own discretion.

1.1.2 Data automatically transmitted to the Services of the Mining University in the process of their use by the software installed on the user's device, including the IP-address, cookie information, information about the user's browser (or other program with which you access the Services), access time, and the address of the requested page.

1.1.3 Other information about the user, collection and/or provision of which is defined in the Regulatory documents of individual Services of the Mining University.

1.2 This Policy is applicable only to the Mining University Services. The Mining University has no control over and is not responsible for any third party websites to which the user can go through the links available on the websites of the Mining University. Other personal information may be collected or requested from the user on such sites, and other actions may be performed.

1.3 The IS of the Mining University does not generally check the reliability of personal information provided by users, nor does it monitor their competence. However, the IS of the Mining University assumes that the information transmitted to it from users is reliable and keeps this information up to date.

2. Purposes of collection and processing of users' personal information

2.1 The Mining University IS collects and stores only those personal data that are necessary to provide the Services and render the services (execution of agreements and contracts with the user).

2.2 The Mining University may use the user's personal information for the following purposes:

2.2.1 To identify the party under agreements and contracts with the Mining University

2.2.2 Providing the user with personalized Services;

2.2.3 Communicating with the user, including sending notices, requests and information regarding the use of the Services, the provision of services, as well as processing requests and applications from the user;

2.2.4 Improving the quality and usability of the Services and developing new Services;

2.2.5 Conducting statistical and other research based on impersonal data.

3. Terms of processing the user's personal information and its transfer to third parties

3.1 The Mining University's IS stores users' personal information in accordance with the internal regulations of specific services.

3.2 The user's personal information is kept confidential, except when the user voluntarily provides information about himself/herself for general access to an unrestricted circle of people.

3.3 The Mining University is entitled to transfer the User's personal information to third parties in the following cases:

3.3.1 The user has expressed his or her consent to such actions;

3.3.2 The transfer is necessary within the framework of the User's use of a particular Service or to provide a service to the User;

3.3.3 The transfer is provided by the Russian or other applicable legislation in the framework of the procedure established by law;

3.4 The Mining University is guided by the Federal Law of the Russian Federation "On Personal Data" when processing the users' personal data.

4. Changes in personal information by the user

4.1 The user can change or supplement the personal information by contacting the specialists of the Mining University.

4.2 The user can also delete the personal information provided by him/her within a certain account by requesting the deletion of his/her account via the IS specialists of the Mining University.

5. Measures used to protect personal information of users

The Mining University takes necessary and sufficient organizational and technical measures to protect the user's personal information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as from other unlawful actions of third parties with it.

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy. Applicable law

6.1 The Mining University has the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. When changes are made in the current edition, the date of the last update shall be specified. The new version of the Policy shall be effective as of the date of its posting, unless otherwise provided by the new version of the Policy.

6.2 The law of the Russian Federation shall apply to this Policy and the relationship between the user and the Mining University arising in connection with the application of the Privacy Policy.
